After a cardiac arrest some patients receive therapeutic hypothermia as a form of treatment to reduce mortality following an ischemic event. A few months ago I reached out to Yi Min after being consulted to possibly start tube feeding on an intensive care patient receiving therapeutic hypothermia. ICYMI: Yi Min is also a clinical support dietitian (CNSC) who I personally turn to when I have questions. After a lengthy discussion I asked Yi Min to present her findings here.
