In my private practice there has been an uptick of renal clients. Depending on what stage of chronic kidney disease you have and based on your lab results you MAY need to decrease your intake of foods containing sodium, potassium, and phosphorus. In today’s video we look at foods high in phosphorus and then examine foods high in potassium. Remember your personal diet needs to be individualized. Please contact your primary care provider and personal dietitian to discuss your individualized nutrition goals.
